The Los Angeles crew knows about my Pinkberry Parties, but now they’ve opened a Menchies in Orlando which allows the Orlando crew to take part in the fun. I had some downtime so the Orlando crew got together for some amazing Menchies and then afterwards we went to catch the new movie FAME. Asher Book from V Factory is one of the lead characters so if you haven’t seen it already I suggest you do ;-)

P.S. I’m performing with V Factory this weekend at the Virginia State Fair! Hope to see you some of you there!

Here’s a behind the scenes look at my recent Chicago shows. Check it out!

After all the dedication you guys have had towards me in this business I feel we need to do whatever we can to show our appreciation. After a ton of research and studying trends in the music business with kids our age I’ve decided to give away my single Girl Who Understands Me for FREE. This is a 100% legal download of my song. I know money is tight with everyone and illegal downloads of songs are at its highest rate and I understand why. So I partnered with this company to try and break the mold in this music business by providing you all with a high quality MP3 for FREE. There’s no catch. When you go to download an ad will show on the screen if you want to participate in the ad then you can click on the ad or at the top there is a button to bypass the advertisement and start your download. We also have a cellphone wallpaper and Girl Who Understands Me ringtone available for FREE as well. This is my thank you to you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. I hope together we can shed a new light and be pathfinders in the music industry :)
THANK YOU!!

It’s good to be home. I have this thing about cleaning my room before I go out of town so instead of coming home to a disaster of a bedroom it’s all nice and organized. Now I’m just trying to catch up on everything from when I was gone. Thank you to everyone who came out to the shows. I was back at the Altamont Fair which is where I first opened for the Jonas Brothers. It’s really awesome to be going back to those places as the headliner thinking back on how far we’ve come since those days of being an opening act. I’m also going back to the Virginia State Fair this year as the co-headliner with V-factory. I was the opening act there when it was Jonas and Jump 5 co-headlining. This past Sunday I finally got to perform in Chicago. I felt so bad that we had to postpone the show twice. Back in December they had a horrible snow storm and then in March I had to stay in Los Angeles, but we finally made it up there and had a great after party with everyone to make up for it! Both shows were great. I got to see a lot of familiar faces and catch up with everyone! On the way back we got an e-mail from Radio Disney asking us to perform at Naperville Jaycees’ Last Fling in the Chicago area! Hope everyone from this Sunday’s Chicago show can make it out! It’s a FREE show :) All the details will be posted in the upcoming shows section.

I’m well aware I’m not a morning person by any means. My entire life I’ve been a night owl staying up until the wee hours of the morning. A lot of times I fall asleep when people are waking up! This morning I had to be up and out at 6 am. I went to bed earlier last night trying to prepare for the crack of dawn departure, but my body would not let me fall asleep. I tried counting backwards, forwards, sheep, everything I could think of and I still didn’t fall asleep until after 3am. So today has been a little sluggish. I just think mornings should not exist. I’m not fond of breakfast foods, and not interested in watching Al Roker’s weather forecast so I see no reason for the hours of 6am-10am. School started for me at 7:20am. I was the zombie walking through the hallways. I performed well academically (I was the nerd who tested better than 98% of the nation on those standardized tests) but I could have done much better if I was actually awake. I’m so thankful for homeschooling – haha!

Yesterday I met with a new band member. Our guys are in college so we have to have numerous people available that know the music in case school schedules conflict. He’s a really cool guy with a great musical ear so I’m excited to have him on board. You guys will be seeing him soon his name is Tony. Also, I saw an old dancer of ours someone some of you might remember her name is Brittany. She was touring with us last year and I hadn’t seen her since. It’s amazing how much can happen in a short time. She’s married with an adorable newborn baby girl and seems to be on a good path in life. She’s about to become a school teacher.

So far today I’ve been working on some new music which I’m really happy with the outcome thus far. I’m about to leave with the madre to help her with some errands not really sure what she has in store for me, but we’ll see. In the meantime here is a song that has been stuck in the head all morning. Don’t you hate when that happens?

Quote of the day: “We all carry around so much pain in our hearts. Love and pain and beauty. They all seem to go together like one little tidy confusing package. It’s a messy business, life. It’s hard to figure–full of surprises. Some good. Some bad.” -Henry Bromel

Question of the day: What song is currently your most listened to on itunes?

Joey

Hello everyone,

This is the new temporary site. It’ll be going through a bunch of changes over the next week or so as we add more content, features, and make changes to the layout. The main purpose of the site is the blog feature which I’m going to try to update daily with the happenings in my life, random thoughts, and photographs. Under the Pages tab there is a link to a chat room. I’ll be popping in from time to time. Anytime I appear in the chat will be announced on my Twitter which you can see the feed at the right. If there is someone in there that says they’re me, but there isn’t a Twitter announcement then it is a poser. Be sure to sign up for the e-mail newsletter if you haven’t already.

Question: What features would you want to see on here?

Joey
